Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Chippi Scout and related Chippi products (the “Service”) operated by Chippi (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Chippi Scout helps employers post roles, screen candidates with AI-assisted tools (including CV analysis and async voice interviews), manage pipelines, and schedule interviews. Features may change over time. Prepaid packages and access windows are described at checkout and in your account.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Team members you invite act on your behalf.

3. Acceptable use

You may only use the Service for lawful hiring and related business purposes. You must not misuse the Service, attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape the platform at scale, upload malware, or process data you are not permitted to process.

4. Candidate and employer data

Employers control the roles they post and the candidates they invite. When candidates apply or interview, we process data such as contact details, CV content, interview recordings and transcripts, AI-generated summaries, and application status in order to provide the Service to the employer. 5. AI-assisted features

Match scores, summaries, and similar outputs are decision-support tools for human reviewers. They are not automated hiring decisions. You remain responsible for how you use AI outputs in your hiring process and for complying with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws.

6. Billing

Paid Scout packages and add-ons are billed as described at purchase. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. Promo codes may apply discounts subject to their terms.

7. Intellectual property

Chippi and its licensors own the Service, branding, and software. You retain rights to content you upload. You grant us a license to host and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that AI outputs will be error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service or other users.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
